10 Great Dates to Energize Your Marriage

Beginning the first Saturday of October, the Marriage and Family Ministries Team is sponsoring “10 Great Dates to Energize Your Marriage.” This insightful book and video course by David and Claudia Arp helps spark romance with memory-making evenings built on key, marriage-enriching themes such as communication, conflict, encouragement, creative love life, and balancing roles of parent and partner. After a short video (20 min.) that sets the stage for discussion, couples are sent out for their own private dates (to go out to dinner, take a walk, etc.).

The program will run the first Saturday night of each month (with an occasional 2nd Saturday) from 6:00-8:15 p.m. (The first three dates are Oct. 3, Nov. 8, and Dec 5.) Whether newly wed or newly retired, parents of toddler or parents of teen, ho hum or humming along, all types of marriages can benefit from the investment in great dates. Childcare will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis through 6th grade (please let us know in advance the ages and how many).
