Adult Bible Fellowships
Our ABFs generally meet Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:15. They are organized by family life stage or by gender so you can connect with other people who are enjoying or struggling with many of the same joys and challenges you face every day.
Each ABF includes a time of refreshments where you can catch up with each other, a time of prayer and a time of interactive Bible teaching with a very specific application to your particular stage of life.
- Family Builders (young marrieds and parents of children)
(Room 201)
Family Builders will start with a short study on the Transcendence of God -- a study on how God's attributes are beyond the realm of human experience. Later, we will continue our study of the Words of Jesus. We will also have studies on God as Father and Spiritual Gifts.
- Pathfinders (parents of Middle, High School and College students) (D-House basement.)
We are studying the Gospel of Luke. Join us as we look at Jesus, the Savior who came to seek and save those who were lost—of all nations. We’ll see Jesus, the Universal Savior. We’ll also be able to pray for and encourage each other as we help our teens and young adults stay focused on Christ.
- Empty Nesters (those whose children are grown)
(Room 206)
We are studying The Jesus Story as told in the book of Matthew. We have class discussions illustrated by visual clips showing Jesus with radical acts of mercy and challenging views of man’s place in the world, culminating in his great acts of salvation.
- Daughters of Grace (ladies' ABF)(Lounge)
We are currently studying the book of Revelation. As we study this amazing book, we will have a 40-minute instructional video each week by Beth Moore, followed by edifying group discussion.
- Men's ABF (Room 204)
“How to Listen to God” A study by Charles F. Stanley. When you became a Christian, you discovered the joy of hearing God speak to you in a personal way. But often the purity and freshness of that initial experience with God gets clouded by the daily routine of life. The clamor of other voices obscures your hearing, leaving you confused and frustrated with your relationship with God. We will rediscover how to distinguish God's voice from all the voices, and how to joyfully and obediently respond. We’ll learn why God wants to communicate with us, how He gets our attention, how He communicates with us, and how to listen to Him and enjoy His presence.
