Adult Bible Fellowships
Our regular ABF schedule will resume on Sept. 12, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. ABFs are mid-size groups that study the Bible together. Each group is identified by a particular stage of family life or affinity, making the application of scripture more targeted and practical to everyday life.
- Family Builders (young marrieds and parents of children from birth through 5th grade) -- We will continue to go through the New Testament, studying the words of Jesus.
- Pathfinders (parents of youth, 6th-12th grade and college) -- Belief: Know What You and Others Believe. We'll look at some of the key truths of our faith and learn more about what others believe so we can dialogue together, and so we can have solid answers for our kids' questions.
- Empty Nesters (those whose children are grown) -- The Faith, by Chuck Colson. A thought-provoking, soul-searching, and powerful manifesto of the great, historical central truths of Christianity that have sustained believers through the centuries.
- Daughters of Grace (ladies' class) -- Experiencing Spiritual Intimacy. We will use guides by Charles Stanley and Lamplight Ministries. Stanley names five results of intimacy with God: stability, security, serenity, sensitivity to others, and spiritual understanding.
- Men's ABF -- to be determined. We are praying about starting a new group. Contact Pastor Kevin if you are interested in being involved.
