Small groups for adults

Koinonia (fellowship) / Bible study groups are an important part of Trinity. To be a growing disciple of Jesus Christ, it's necessary to imitate the early Christians who continually "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Small groups may meet at the church or in homes, on Sunday night or during the week. They are unique opportunities for growth and sharing. (Mark 3:7, 13-17; Matt. 18:12-20; Acts 10:25-34)

Fall  2008 groups

Still to be scheduled:

  • Two additional groups on "The Truth Project" (see description below).
  • Contact Pastor Kevin C if you are interested in participating in a Triad (life transformation group of 3)

Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent
An in-depth look by Beth Moore at 15 psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth through Psalms 120-134. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. Contact: Kristi S.

When the Enemy Strikes
The group will be studying this book and workbook by Charles Stanley. This class for women is not for the faint of heart! We live in a world of conflict between good and evil. Spiritual warfare is real. We must be aware that we have a very evil enemy and his name is Satan. More importantly, we have a very real sovereign, omnipotent protector, and His name is God! Come to class to grow closer to Christ, arming yourself with the knowledge of His Word for the battles yet to be fought and the victories yet to be won, giving God all the glory! Contact: Deb A.
