Sunday School
During the school year, Sunday School is offered for all ages at 9:00-10:15 a.m., followed by our worship service at 10:30. (For children's Sunday School, see our Children's Ministries page.)
In the summer, selected adult classes only are offered at 9:00.
Fall 2008 classes (beginning Sept. 7)
We are using an Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) model this year. In this model, the mid-sized group (of about 15-40 people) is organized around a particular common bond and continues to meet across time, allowing deep and meaningful relationships to develop. Since the majority of the groups share the same life stage, application can be focused and relevant to members' everyday life. Because the ABF model uses a leadership team, the teacher is free to concentrate fully on teaching. The team works together to ensure that each attendee is connected with each other, receives the biblical content needed for spiritual growth, and is cared for.
As the groups continue, they will develop opportunities inside and outside of class time for spiritual growth, fellowship, service, and even outreach.
This fall, all the adult classes will start with an in-depth study of the book of Colossians. It's a great book to remind us of who Christ is and how He longs to work in us and through us.
