Trinity's staff
Pastor Steve has been our Senior Pastor since 1996. He graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Industrial Engineering in 1974. His moment in the sun was playing football for Stanford and being in two Rose Bowls in 1971 and 1972. After graduating, he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and spent the next four years at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, serving the last two years there as the campus director of the ministry. Steve graduated from Denver Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1981. He started a new church in northern California and then moved down to San Jose, where he served on the staff and as pastor with two churches for 12 years before coming to Trinity. Steve is married to Nancy and they have four adult daughters.
Rock and roll was his life! Born and raised in New York City, "Kevin C" worked as a disc-jockey in night clubs and private parties and served as emcee for many 1950s acts such as Bobby Rydell, the Drifters, the Five Satins and the Coasters. He attended religious schools through high school but never really understood his own need for a Savior till his mid-twenties, when his search led him to prayerfully read through the Gospels. Struck by Jesus’ perfection in all His actions and relationships, Kevin realized how far short he himself fell. He has served God at three Christian radio stations and as a church-planting missionary in Milan, Italy. On furloughs, he studied at Moody Bible Institute and graduated in 1993 with a BA in Pastoral Studies. He earned his Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary of the East in 2000. Before coming to Trinity, Kevin served churches in Fairfield, Connecticut, and Frankfort, Indiana. He is married to Alesa and has three teenage children (Cathy, Grace & John). Kevin’s life mission is to encourage and equip as God gives opportunity. At Trinity, his passion is to help people get connected with each other and grow in their devotion to and service for Christ.
Pastor Cliff oversees the pastoral care activities of the church and works especially with our senior adult group. Cliff served as a pastor in Minnesota before moving out to New England. He has taught in seminary and done graduate work in theological studies. He is also a marriage and family counselor and is available for personal and family counseling. He is married to Bev.
Pastor "Kevin K" was our youth pastor from November 1998 to June 2008. Having graduated in 2008 from Bethel Seminary with his Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership, he has now assumed a new role at the church. Kevin's undergraduate degree Calvin College was in Recreation, with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. Kevin had always felt God pulling him to work with teens, ever since he was a camp counselor for five summers during high school and college. He was also involved with Campus Crusade for Christ during his freshman year in college. In addition, he worked for three years in a church ministry serving 300 junior high kids and interned with the youth pastor for one summer. Kevin is married to Billie Jo and they have a young daughter and son.
